Phoenix has been used in pony parties since he was three years old, he is now five years old and 12 hands. He is much better as a riding pony than he is as a party pony. He doesn’t really have the patience for lead line backyard rides. He is 100% sound with no bad habits, he rides fine, Leadline or independent. He was used for English lessons ( collects well and strides out nicely )We just prefer much older for pony parties. I honestly thought he would be perfect but at five years old, he’s just too young to deal with extremely loud music, piñata’s right next to him, balloons popping everywhere, he just generally needs more time before he would be a good party pony. He is quiet and gentle, and has no bad habits at all. We just prefer 3 feet in the grave for our pony parties.
