Meet Storm. An exceptional all around riding partner! Coming to Dixie Horse Auction, Storm is a very unique, patient and friendly guy! He is very well broke to ride. He has been ridden on the trails, in the arena, out on the roadways, and many more places! When out on the trails, he will happily plod along whichever direction you please! He conquers the hills with ease, does not mind stepping over logs or crossing creeks. He will happily take you on a solo ride but also rides great in groups! In the arena, he will lope a circle, he will pick up both leads, and even take a few jumps! He will stand nicely for a mounting block. He will stop and back up nicely when asked. He will move off of your legs, sidepass, whatever you please as Storm is not easily phased. He will walk trot and canter on command. He will cross obstacles with ease, does not mind a tarp or flag and will willingly try new things! When out on the roadways, he is a very reliable horse! He will stop and stand at stop signs. He does not mind traffic. He does great when loading and riding in a trailer. He loves a nice ride outdoors and will do anything to please you! Not only is he a good rider, he is also quite the gentleman in the barn! He will he will come right up to you in the stall, he is easy to bridle, and very easy on the lead line. He will lunge nicely both ways, walk, trot and canter. He will stand nicely in a cross tie, or he will ground tie as well. He will tack and groom easily. Picks up all four feet nicely. That's great for the farrier. He does love treats and all the attention that he can get! Storm is one that works for the whole family! Super sweet, easy to handle, and so much fun to have around!
