Peps Smoking Streak, “Smokey Joe” is a 7 yr old APHA Registered gelding standing at 15.1hh! Smokey Joe is very well trained to ride! He is athletic, confident, and safe! Smokey Joe will cross anything you put in front of him! He has a lot of trail experience, and isn’t easily spooked or bothered! He is a solid citizen and easy to get along with! Smokey Joe can be turned out in mixed herds with no fuss! He is easy to catch! Smokey Joe loads and unloads from a trailer with no issues, and he will travel nicely! He will stand calmly to be groomed and to be tacked up! He doesn’t mind getting bathes! He has great ground manners! He is the perfect age, he is experienced enough for the young riders, but young enough to last you many years! Smokey Joe absolutley loves attention! In the arena he will pick up both leads, he stops on command, and has a nice back up! He neck reins, and moves off of leg pressure! He has a nice side pass, and a slow pivot! Smokey Joe can be rode English or Western! His walk, trot, canter is very smooth and easy to ride! He has a nice sitting trot, and a canter that feels like a rocking chair! He is soft in the bridle and will collect up or ride on a loose rein! Anyone can ride and enjoy him! On the trails, Smokey Joe is a dream! He has nice confident walk! He rides just as well alone, or in group! He isn’t fazed by creeks, or mud! He will go up and down the steep hills! He is sure footed and watches his step! He will go through all the obstacles with no problem! He doesn’t mind the tarps or the ball! He is used to being around dogs as well! Smokey Joe is a solid gelding safe for all levels or riders! He is 100% sound and healthy!
