Mack’s Smoken Joe, affectionately known as muley is our barn favorite! You name a job, and muley is there to do it. For 4 years of his life, he has worked in the Albany stockyards every week. He pushes cattle, loads trucks, and sorts as needed. You can open and close gates on him easily. Outside, you can rope and doctor cattle as needed. He handles the rope well and doesn’t get worked up in sticky situations. Muley walks, jogs, and lopes nicely. He neck reins, side passes, and is an overall pleasure to ride. You can relax and enjoy a nice trail ride on him as well. Muley is confident to ride out alone or with a group. We have taught beginner lessons on him as well. To top it all off, Muley is also trained to drive to the wagon single and double. He really is the whole package! He is easy to catch, ties nicely, easy to shoe and bathe, and gets along well in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. Muley is an exceptional gelding that has been in great care his entire life.
