Lou is one of the most unique horses we’ve seen. Her faux-badger face turns heads every time. Coupled with her Mack truck build, she is a really gorgeous horse. Beyond just being pretty, Lou is kind and tolerant. We have had her on our trail string for beginners and she’s been tried-and-true for our clients. She is calm, gentle, more whoa than go, tolerant, kind, and can take a joke. Lou will cross any kind of water without hesitation, is bombproof around all kinds of machinery and livestock, and will give just about anything her best try. She is not an athlete and prefers a slower pace but will absolutely move out for someone who asks her to. We’ve owned this mare since 2023 and if we had not sold our stallions, she would not be for sale. This is not a horse you see every day. Don’t miss her!
