Chestnut is very well broke to ride. He is easy to handle and very quiet minded. He loves his job and will happily walk off each time. Chestnut does not mind if he's ridden 7 days a week or once a month, same horse each time! He will lope a circle in the arena. Has a beautiful walk-trot -canter transition. He's a great rider under both English and Western disciplines. He would make a great dressage/ eventing horse. He is a spectacular western horse as well. He will neck rein, sidepass, move off of your legs easily. He will stop and back up nicely when asked. He will ride with or without a bridle. There's not much this horse won't do! He will stand patiently at a mounting block. He will cross obstacles. He does not mind the trails. He will conquer the hills with ease. Crosses creeks and logs. He is 100% traffic safe. Whether you're indoors or out he will do his best to please you. He has great ground manners as well. He will patiently stand all day long. He will pick up all four feet nicely. He will stand well to be tacked groomed, bathed, and for the farrier. He will Trailer load well. He is great when turned out with other horses. He has a super sweet temperament.
