He is a 6-year-old, 16.1hh Friesian/Morgan cross who is barefoot, sound, and clean-legged.Louie has excellent manners in every way. He ties, bathes, loads, and is great for both the vet and farrier. He is very polite to groom and tack, and he stands like a rock to mount. He is also trained to lay down, sit, and step up onto objects on cue, showing just how intelligent and willing he is.Despite his age, Louie has an incredible amount of experience and is genuinely wise beyond his years. He has roped bulls at the Cowtown PBR, picked up broncs at APRA rodeos, and ponied countless horses. He has helped start many young horses under saddle by being a solid snubbing horse. On the trail, he is confident and dependable—crossing water, bridges, tunnels, and varied terrain with ease. Louie has also fox hunted first flight several times with great success.He is easy to catch, well-mannered in the stall and in the field, and always arrives ready to work.
