Pablo is 12.5% Thoroughbred, making him an Appendix Quarter Horse, and we cannot say enough good about what hybrid vigor has done to create the ultimate performance horse in Pablo. We lovingly refer to him as the "Tom Cat" because of his huge square jaws and his curious, playful personality. This horse is easy to catch anywhere, has been collected for AI and will breed live cover (pasture and in-hand) as well. He stands tied in the barn next to mares without drama, knowing his job in each moment and conducting himself accordingly. We have rode him on trails and in the arena, he is insanely smart and athletic and he passes those traits onto his colts. He has produced 100% buckskin foals for us in the past and no matter what mare we cross him on he has produced correct, shapey colts with tons of color. Pablo rides the best. He can sit for years and come back into work as if he's been working every day. In the off-season, Pablo lives out with geldings and you'd never know he was intact based on his conduct in the pasture. This incredible animal is 100% sound in every way, sane, gentle, kind, smart, a true gentleman. He is disease tested negative across the board, already approved for progeny registration through multiple other registries (APHA and ApHC among others). Pablo has received nothing but the best care for years and he's ready to go to work in any program. We are offering him as a stallion in the hopes that another facility can continue to use him and pass his bloodlines, personality, and brains to the next generation of colts but I have no doubt that if he were to be castrated, he'd enjoy life as a gelding and be someone's once-in-a-lifetime performance or pleasure horse as well.
