✨ Gypsy – 6-Year-Old Gypsy/Quarter Horse Cross – Versatile, Athletic, and Well-Trained ✨

Gypsy is a 15.1hh bay pinto mare with exceptional movement and a strong work ethic. She has auto lead changes, excellent ground manners, and advanced training, including the ability to lay down and rear on command.

She has been started on all the rodeo events, including Texas barrels, the key hole race, barrel pattern, and pole bending. She has also been used to work cattle in both the ring and the field. She has endless stamina and thrives with a job, making her a perfect fit for a variety of disciplines.

As an amazing trail horse, Gypsy will confidently ride in the front, back, or middle, whether in a group or alone. She will cross anything—creeks, ditches, deep mud, and logs—and has been ridden in a variety of places, from arenas to pastures to fields to the tightest of trails.

Gypsy is also extremely well-trained in the ring. She can be ridden on a direct rein or will one-hand neck rein with ease. She stands perfectly to be tacked, bathed, or mounted, and can stand tied all day with no fuss. Gypsy is the easiest horse to lunge, moving out on her own and responding to voice commands without hesitation. She has a beautiful hard/sliding stop—all you have to do is say the word.

She has been started on driving, though she has never been hooked to a cart. Additionally, she can side pass flawlessly in both directions, making her a pleasure to work with on the ground and under saddle.

Gypsy has been exposed to all different types of animals and doesn’t blink an eye, demonstrating her calm and steady demeanor in all environments. She also doesn’t act like a mare—she gets along with everyone and is easy to have around, whether with other horses, animals, or people.

Gypsy is UTD on Coggins and all vaccines. She has been barefoot for the last 9 months with no soundness issues, and she picks up all four feet and stands perfectly for the farrier.

Although she is best suited for an intermediate rider due to her responsiveness and many buttons, she has been led around with children riding her, showing her gentle nature and ability to handle riders of all experience levels.

Gypsy has not been shown recently but has been shown in the past and performed wonderfully in the ring.
