Broke, to Ride, Sound

Basil is an 8 yr old 15.3 hand, Appendix gelding. What you see is what you get….. a handsome, solid guy with low mileage. Basil hasn’t been ridden in 4 years! The video is from his first ride (he has had rides since and gets better every time) He was started as a youngster and even worked cattle and was beginning the barrel pattern. There was a death in the family and the farm and the horses were held up in probate for years. Basil was one of the horses that sat all that time until everything got settled. He’s been with us about 4 months where he has had his teeth done, feet taken care of and started getting back into shape.
